From October 14 to November 29, 2024, the Generational Creative Fusion workshops took place online, bringing together 18 participants in an engaging exploration of art, storytelling, and digital tools. Organized by FUTOUR as part of the ArtTech project, the workshops were led by Ana Maria Solís and Domingo Ferrandis, fostering collaboration between women from different generations to bridge cultural gaps and preserve shared heritage.
The sessions began with creative icebreakers, such as weather metaphors, to build trust and connection among participants. Personal narratives became the foundation for artistic expression, as participants transformed their stories into digital artworks using tools like Canva and AI-based platforms. These collaborative creations addressed cultural and generational differences, encouraging dialogue and mutual understanding.
A key aspect of the workshops was the integration of innovative digital tools, including Miro, Napkin, and Storybird, which enhanced both creative and technical skills. By the end of the program, participants had developed three conceptual projects focused on intergenerational inclusion and storytelling, demonstrating how art and technology can unite diverse perspectives and enrich intercultural dialogue.
