On October 4–5, 2024, the Generational Creative Fusion event took place in Târgu Mureș, Romania.
The workshop brought together diverse participants, including six women (19+) from universities, colleges, and community groups, ten women (50+) representing enterprises and community organizations, and two staff members from Fundatia Professional – ProF. Additionally, artistic facilitator Renata Veer guided the creative aspects of the sessions.
Participants were divided into five groups, with each member assigned specific roles such as storyteller, listener, or facilitator. To foster engagement, the sessions began with ice-breaker activities and guided prompts. Storytelling was further encouraged through structured interviews, where groups of three rotated roles: Interviewer, Interviewee, and Observer (responsible for documenting the conversation using digital tools). Throughout the weekend, these small teams remained together, strengthening their connections while capturing personal narratives through audio and video recordings.
The workshop’s key outcome was a collection of collaborative artworks that embodied intergenerational creativity. Young participants also had the opportunity to develop their digital literacy and creative skills by working hands-on with technology and artistic techniques, gaining practical experience in digital storytelling and multimedia creation.
